Located at AT&T Park in San Francisco, the Bay Area Science Festival is an annual event that invites hundreds of educational and scientific establishments for a fun-filled weekend of hands-on activities.
This year, Chabot volunteers had the opportunity to work at a NASA booth, help engage kids in fun arts and crafts activities, and do exciting scientific demonstrations.
One Galaxy Explorer volunteer noted, “The day was filled with excitement, innovation, and educational experiences to ‘wow’ people of all ages.”
